How to arrive
Coming from the south take A1 motorway connecting Rome to Firenze nord, then A11 in the direction to Pisa and finally A12 to the Livorno turn-off; Livorno can also be reached by taking the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno higway, or the via Aurelia exit Livorno sud; go straight on into “Viale Nazario Sauro” when you reach “Barriera Margherita” (the old doors) turn left for fifty metres, you will then see a castle among the liberty villas which is Hotel Gennarino.
